3 steps to get motivated.

It's impossible to be motivated all the time. No one is.

But what if we tell you that there's a way you can put yourself into 'work mode' regardless of how motivated you initially are?

It's simple—you set up a priming ritual. There's a reason most top-level athletes have a pre-game ritual, and most performers have a pre-stage ritual. It pulls them out of their laziness and into the mental state to get going.

You can set up your own priming ritual to get motivated to work out, write, or do any task you want!

Here's how:

  1. Start super easy. Starting is the hardest part. Therefore, the first step of your ritual has to be so easy that you can't say no to it. For example, your workout priming ritual can start with wearing your socks. You can't say no to wearing socks!
  2. Get moving. You can't 'think yourself' into getting motivated! As far as possible, include some physical movement in your ritual. For example, your writing priming ritual can consist of getting up and moving to your writing desk.
  3. Stay consistent. The entire premise behind a priming ritual is to create a pattern of events in your mind. You need to follow this same pattern every time. This links the ritual to your performance and trains your mind to get into the right mental state by the very act of doing the ritual!

You don't need to be motivated anymore; you just need to start your priming ritual!
